I am passionate about the outdoors and helping people connect with nature. My journey began when I lost my Paw-Paw in 2014. Today, I continue to recongize the life vaules he taught me through my commitment to creating community while managing outreach opportunties for kids and women in the outdoors.
When I am not working on outreach projects, you can find me at the boat ramp setting up bass tournaments for the Virginia Elite 70. In the off season, I work for South East Productions bringing the fishing and boating shows, seminars, product releases and behind the scenes fishing lifestyle footage to your screen!
If it's Marketing |Fishing | Media | Content Creation or anything outdoors, I AM YOUR GIRL!
My mission is to provide outdoor enthusiasts with the gear and resources they need to explore the world around them. I strive to empower women through education and inspire them to pursue their passions. It's very much a BE GOOD AND DO GOOD attitude. Paying it forward is something my Paw-Paw taught me at a very young age.
I believe in practicing actions that protect the environment and support local communities. I am committed to promoting diversity, inclusivity, and accessibility in the outdoors.
Yes, I have experienced the general public not understanding how my role is considered “work”.
Social media has the power of tricking the naked eye to believe life is what we post. When in fact that is the exact opposite. As a creator it is my job to make the viewers want the product I am selling or think the experience is something they are missing out on if they don’t book it right away. It’s the marketing behind the content.
I have said it many times before, FISHING SAVED MY LIFE. Whenever my heart rate spikes from stress, I find being by the water helps calm my blood pressure. Being on or near the water is therapeutic because I am reminded that I am a small piece of a giant world. That sense of belonging is powerful. The environment sensory allows my mind to relax, reflect and respect the situations I go through in my personal life.
Many times I have felt like life’s curveballs were to much to handle. Whether it was the death of a family member, a loss of a job or even just my own medical scares, I know fishing is always there to give me a safe space to let out all that negativity.

Growing up Snookie had a special bond with her Grandfather, both sharing a love for fishing. After his passing, her passion for fishing helped keep his memory alive, but it soon became more than that. She realized that it could be used as a positive way to relieve stress while providing a break from the daily grind. Now she shares her passion with everyone from youth to CEO's with corporate and nonprofit programs. If you've ever wondered how kicking your feet up on a tacklebox for a day can do the body and mind good, then this ones for you! The Richmond, Virginia angler enthusiastically points out, “A small boat takes you to places you may not notice from a larger boat, kind of like the journey of life,” she insists. “A big boat cannot get into the creeks and pockets that I can get in. Plus, when I get there, there’s no one else around! The fish are all mine.”
Disadvantages of a smaller boat are obvious, but she views them as an advantage. She says that it forces her to determine where and how she is going to be fishing that day.” A successful day begins before getting on the water. “I don’t have the luxury of running across the lake to a different area if the fish are not biting. Because of that it’s important I choose wisely where to launch, and then have the right tackle with me.”
“I would never let sadness change all the years of him molding my character. Fishing in our lake, I came to my senses. It was something about God’s country and the peacefulness of the lake that shocked all that negativity out of me like a lightning bolt. I was reminded that no matter who Paw-Paw ran into he always introduced me as his Snookie because he saw the world through me. This fishing rod in my hand was like a magic wand bringing so much clarity to what I needed to do as a woman. I began to care less about objects and more about moments. My hobbies changed. The outdoors was now healing and I wanted nothing more than to explore what he had guided me too.”
